Yesterday after school I got to go to the stables! I go to the stables every Thursday to volunteer. We left at 1:00 P.M and went to the post office to mail some things then Mom dropped me off at Freedom Ride.
As I went up the sidewalk to the gate the instructor, Missy, called to me asking me to bring in Lady Bug and Pete for the next lesson. I started to go to the volunteer room to sign in but decided I probably should get them right away so I went to the pasture and brought in Lady Bug (another volunteer got Pete) after I had groomed and tacked her we had a lesson in which I horse handled (led) Lady Bug. We had to trot a couple of times, too (Lady Bug is very fast so I have to run to keep up. =P ).
After that lesson I untacked Lady Bug, groomed her again and put her away before heading out to the pasture with Jerry (our barn manager) and getting the other horses. It was about upper eighties to lower nineties outside at that time, with no shade. We brought in all the mares first: Flikka and Little Bit (Ginger, Marigold, and Lady Bug were already in). Then we went to the gelding's pasture and all of them except three were up at the front (we have to boarders in the gelding's pasture) we brought in Big Easy, Zues, Cody, Titan, and Equity and the others started grooming while I went to get Argus, the last horse that we would bring in.
In the pasture still with Argus were Abdullah and Porscha, our two boarders. Abdullah stood about ten feet away from Argus and Porscha who stood together. I had Argus's halter in my hand and slid it over his head before looking at Porscha (she's a brown almost black mare).
Blood was pouring down her muzzle from a gash in the side of her face. The gash was about the side of a half dollar and almost two inches deep. Part of it went around her eye as well, swelling her eye shut. A small cut was under her eye and another long gash starting at the half dollar gash ran down her hole face and around her lip (just recalling it makes me feel sick). She also had cuts along her stomach and a bunch of skin missing from her hind right leg.
I lead Argus out of the pasture as fast as I could (and of course he was going as slow as he possibly could) and got him into his stall before getting Jerry. She and I went out to the pasture and looked at Porscha, Jerry brought a lead rope to put around her neck so we could lead her out of the pasture (since a halter couldn't be used). I ran ahead and opened a side smaller pasture in case she bolted. As soon as she got there she did bolt but Jerry was able to get her into that pasture. She called Linda, another person in charge of the boarders, and they started calling the vet and Porscha's owner. I ran back to the tack room to get some sponges and a bucket so we could sponge Porscha down since it was so hot.
First one vet said he wouldn't come out and then we couldn't get a hold of Porscha's owner. It was almost an hour before her owner and another vet came (I groomed some more horses during this time). They sedated her and put her head on a pole with a pad on it so the vet could examine her. After they had all the cuts washed out they started gushing more blood and the vet said she needed immediate transportation to the hospital in Ocala (which is an hour away).
So they took Porscha to the vet and that's all I know. I hope I can hear more about her on Saturday... Earlier that morning the geldings were being wild and kicking, managing to kick two whole sections of fence down (they repaired it right away and examined all horses close by but she was on the other side of the pasture). We think she could have hurt herself on that and/or gotten kicked. If this is true, she was bleeding like that for over three hours, and then another one before the vet got there.
Aside from all of that it was uneventful. When Porscha left I gave Zues (our white horse who was ...grey... at the time) a bath and helped groom some more horses. I was going to feed after that but Mom came to pick me up for my viola lesson which I went to right after.
I had a busy day yesterday. o.o

Sewing...
For the past couple of day's I've been sick... really sick. I lost my voice and even had a fever a couple of times. Now I'm mostly better and expect to be all better by tomorrow. =) Somehow even while being sick I managed to get more school done than when I'm not. Odd, no?
It's good, though, I've been stressing. Recently I added another course online and I'm signed up for another, this one that I just signed up for is considered very advanced and is for Seniors. (What am I getting myself into?)
Besides school I also have to write a magazine article with JF, Roh, and ILH and it's not even half done and it needs to be done pretty much now... And it's not... and there's no way it will be. Sigh...
I also have this huge sewing project that I wanted to take to the Central Florida Fair when finished but that's not going to happen because I hadn't had enough time or energy (being sick really zapped all my energy) to finish! Fortunately with Mom's help it's coming along pretty well, it just won't be done in time for the fair. Here are some pictures if any of y'all are interested.
Oh, and on top of all this we're taking a trip to Tennessee in six days and I'm not ready.
I have to have six Bible verses memorized before then for this thing we're doing and I have maybe one done.
Also we're moving in less than two months, my sixteenth birthday is coming up, we're going to Colorado in less than 50 days and I have to prepare some stuff for that, we have orchestra auditions coming up (which I'm scrambling to prepare for), I'm trying to learn how to read a whole new clef, and I'm trying to convince Mom to let me take piano! Am I crazy or what?!

The under dress we're making to go...well...under. =P

Woah
Hehe, didn't realize that last post was so long. If no one reads it, I don't blame you. =P I kind of rambled. :6:
Bleah
Ick, last night I came down with a sinus infection or something... I'm really sick now, sore throat, stuffy nose, all that wonderful stuff.
On the bright side we finished all of our end of the year testing today! It is also now only 10 days until we leave for Tennessee! And ... approximately 45 until we move there. O.O That's hard to imagine!
I had to look over my whole online school today for a web design assignment to evaluate my school's site and I found another course I want to take! =P Computer programing! So I'm signed up for that and awaiting a teacher and class. ^_^
Yesterday I had a viola and violin lesson... I had them on Thursday instead of Saturday because I have to perform in a huge four + hour concert on Saturday. Anyways, Mom let me get two books of pieces to play just for fun (she actually picked them out while I was in my lesson. =P ). She chose a solo book for 'The Sound of Music' and a LotR book! */wee smilie*
The pieces in the sound of music book are: Do-Re-Mi, The Sound of Music, Maria, My Favorite Things; Edelweiss, The Lonely Goatherd, Sixteen going on Seventeen, So Long, Farwell, and Climb Ev’ry Mountain. Those in the LotR book are: FotR) The Prophecy, In Dreams, Concerning Hobbits, Many Meetings, The Black Rider, (TT) Gollum’s Song, Rohan, Evenstar, Forth Eorlingas, (RotK) Into the West, Steward of Gondor, and Minas Tirith!
It's awesome. ^_^ I played through all the LotR pieces and managed to get them all sounding something like what they're supposed to. =P And I'll take them to my teacher on Wednesday and ask her to play them for me so I can know exactly how they're supposed to sound. Fortunately a CD came with both books! And so I can hear what it sounds like... kind of... the one in the LotR book is the violist playing with the whole orchestra and the Sound of Music is the accompaniment so it's just for me to play along with, not viola part is played...
And as for the violin, my teacher says I'm excelling in it. I'm also half way through the second book (in just three lessons. =P) and will soon be moving on to the third! */wee smilie* Hehe
Right now I'm drinking some tea and trying to feel better in time for the concert tomorrow, I don't want to be sick for that. I'm going to go work on HW (The acronym for a story I'm writing with a friend) now and I'll post more tomorrow!

Again!
Tree Climbing!
Yesterday my sisters and I finished school and all then went and played in the tree down the road from us, dubbed by JF and Roh 'Lothlorien'.
That's actually just a few branches, it's a very big tree and a lot of fun to climb in.
Every time someone entered the neighborhood we would blow the horn we have (The horn of Gondor =P ) and sing 'Happy Birthday' to them. The version of happy birthday from the Emperor's New Groove. ^_^ We got a few strange looks but it was fun.
We took a few pictures while we were there, including a rather good one of me... And
A rather scary one of Hannah with the horn of Gondor. (Her eyes are glowing red in this picture)
And we of course brought Callista with us.
Today we've done some end of the year tests and I've done two web design assignments (bleah) and now I'm working on driver's ed. I hope we get to go back to the tree today. ^_^ Mom might not let us, though, since we have a lot of work to do...
Speaking of which, I should go finish. =D

Whew, it's been awhile.
Yeah, I know, I haven't posted in forever. =P
We've been busy! Had tons of school and finishing up sewing projects... (haven't started on the dress yet, though) I also am close to finishing an embroidered t-shirt that I digitized myself. B) First one in awhile. I'll post pictures when it's done.
Since it's Saturday I've been doing lots of chores (funness) and such... I'll probably start my dress, today, too.
Yesterday I was playing with my sisters in the front yard with out dowel rod swords and my younger sister, Kaylee, thwacked me so hard on the leg that it raised a welt, broke the skin, and snapped the tip off the rod. xD It didn't hurt as much as one would expect, though, it did sting for awhile. After which I made cookies! Funness, though I couldn't eat any dough, since I'm pretty much off sugar (my own choice, by the way) though I did eat a cookie. :6:
Right now I'm talking to Ellie on IM and she's trying to convince me that I'm smart and she's not... It's not working. =P
A couple of days ago it was decided that I'm going to CO with Clefy for the Colorado conference, too! */wee smilie* I'll probably get to room with Eowyn, too, which should be fun. ^_^
I'm starving now, so *runs off*

An unusual Tuesday morning...
Yup... I usually tutor at an elementary school on Tuesday mornings, but I found out I don't have to this morning because of spring break (yay!). =D
Now I'm working on Spanish homework, writing a paper on the Dominican Republic, part in English part in Spanish. Then I'll have to take a web design exam and work on driver's ed.
We're going to Tennessee in twenty days and we're going to see Crim on the way up! I hope to meet Nim, too, but it's not as likely... <_<
There's been a lot of stuff going on on the DioM forum... A lot of users are upset about it, too and it resulted in one user getting banned... It's not good.
I've started writing more lately, I think I've finally gotten over NaNoWriMo, it pretty much killed my writing ability up until the beginning of this month. I have a collab planned and I'm almost done with my squabble. =D
And I will reply to Nim's letter today no matter how long it takes for me to get to it! I'm getting really upset with myself about it. First I have to finish school... <_<

Packing, fun
Today's going to be one busy day of boxes, tape, and paper. We have to pack a bunch of stuff to take to TN in April and we don't have much time left.
I ran half a mile this morning with my sister, though she fell when turning a corner and hurt herself... She's okay, though.
Now I'll be getting breakfast and getting to work, not much else to do.

It's over...
JF, ILHy, and Roh are all home now. =(
I miss them. We had so much fun at the writer's conference and afterwards at home, making cloaks.
I am the one in the middle. There's Hannah, ILHy, me, JF, and Roh. I helped everyone with theirs except Mom made Hannah's.
Now since they're gone I need to get back to school and make that dress... O.o in thirty days, joy.
I'll post more pictures and then go.

Critiquing
Critiquing...what fun. Right now I'm sitting in a meeting room of the hotel where the conference is held. We're reading JF's post right now... which I had to just do a voice for (Kind of fun =P) I like the story, hehe.
We already did my story and everyone seemed to like it... it's definitely a girls' book... There were some critiques, mostly about changing moods... At least most of the people like it.
I think we're leaving soon... To our hotel room where we'll finish PotC 2 and probably write. =P we have an idea for a magazine article and an editor is interested in it (all four of us would be writing it.)
I'm going to pack up my computer now and I'll post later.

... ^_^
Second day of the conference, though first for most. We arrived a day earlier than everyone else since Clefy had to help set up... We helped, too, it was actually fun. =P
We had to fill out this bingo sheet thing with different people's signatures from the conference, each box having a different requirement before they could sign. ILHy and I finished ours first (so we think. We don't know if there was anyone ahead of us.) JF and Roh are working on theirs. I'm trying to convince them to finish them. =P
An introduction class was the only thing we attended last night as it was the only thing going on besides a staff meeting. It was an interesting class but I was so tired (two hours of sleep last night. :6) that I had to doodle in my folder so I wouldn't fall asleep. Everyone else did, too, I think, except maybe JF... *pokes JF* did you?
We have another intro. class today and our continuing class. ^_^ Our intro class starts in...about 25 minutes
