I've decided to give up on this blog.

I can never remember to update it and whenever I sign in here it signs me out of g-chat, which is a real pain.

You can keep up with me if you'd like by reading my xanga blog.

Nothing Much

Not much is happening here. I got the screws out of my knee, I've been going to therapy, I've been riding, going to music lessons, going to orchestra, having guests over, doing a lot of writing, won two CP polls, working on a new story.

Pretty boring, yah? ;)

Life is good. I'm so blessed. Please pray for my mom, she's getting her wisdom teeth pulled out tomorrow.

Long Time

Woah, I haven't posted here in a long time!

Let's see... What's happened?

Well, we've lived here two months now, I have a horse! a Horse! Mee! Her name is Angel, she's a Tennessee Walker, 16 hh, palomino. I could give you her whole pedigree, too, but I don't think you want me to.

I've been on tour since we moved, with my dad, and got to go up the east coast with him and three other authors, that was a blast.

Roh has my hippo at the moment. =O She won't send him back! *pokes Roh* I want Sam!

I rearranged my room yesterday.

Oh, and I entered my medieval dress in the state 4-H fashion revue and won my catagory! Whee! then I entered it in the county fair and won first and best of show. I got $4. =P

Right now I'm working on some cloaks, tunics, baby clothes, and a doll quilt. All of them I will end up giving away, too, how interesting.

I fell off Angel the other day, we were running around a sharp turn (Yes, TN walkers don't gallop) and I fell off! Whee! Landed on and dislocated my shoulder, it hurt so much I couldn't move it for two days and then I popped it back in myself and it hurt another day then was fine.

That's about all. Oh, I joined DA, my character is quite... interesting, not sure if I like her or if she likes me yet, but oh well.

I'm officially done with web design once my teacher grades my final project then I start a college English class! Hoorah.

Bye!

Hey..

I'm in Colorado! =D

At a Christian's writer's conference. It's fun. And I'm actually learning stuff this time. Yay! =P

They had this class on how to come out of your shell for those writers who are too shy to pitch their proposal... so... of course I had to take it. :6:

.. I met a family of seven, here, 6 girls and 1 boy. =D They're awesome and have 'adopted' me. =P

I get to hang out with Eowyn, too! She's nice once you get her to talk. But before that, lol, she's real quiet.

Hi. ^_^

Just got back from TN.

Had fun, I guess...

My birthday was...boring.

Seeing horses was...fun.

Auditions were... horrible.

Unpacking was... okay.

Now I'm back in FL and I have to unpack, pack, and sew.

Going to Colorado tomorrow!

Oh Glorious Day!

Squee! Today I finished Spanish II! So now I have both my required foreign language credits and I'm done with Spanish forever. =D

I got an A, too, a low A, but an A none the less. =P

Today we moved our mattresses out of the house, too... So we're completely without beds until May 30th. Oh well, I already sit on the floor all day long, so I won't mind sleeping on it. =P

Our house is rather empty. Kind of sad... but not.

My audition for the Memphis orchestra is in just a couple of days. o.o

EEK!

Meep!

Just got back from the sewing store, post office, and grocery store.

And I've been using my machine! MY treadle sewing machine! *dances around in circles* It's lots of fun and it's quiet.

Unfortunately it's picky about how you thread it, but oh well. =P

I'm happy!

Nothing New...

Absolutely nothing but school is going on here.... and it's all rather boring. =P

I've had to put off sewing because of it. -_- I want to sew!

But I'm almost done with Spanish II and I'll NEVER HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN!!!

*cough*

Just a little happy about that. =P

I also finished Driver's Ed and took the learner's permit test thingy and I got my permit! =D The test is easy, hehe.

I got to go to the stables on Thursday, though, and I got a big sunburn on my neck and my nose.
Viola lesson is today so that's good... I just have a couple more lessons before my audition. :S I'm worried. I'm not doing so well.

At least I have a riding lesson to look forward to on Tuesday. B)

New Viola

We decided on my new viola today! :D

Isn't it pretty? ^_^

It's a Parola 15 and 1/2 inches. and it's mine! =D Or will be next week. I have it at home, though.

I need to practice for my audition. Coming up in less than two weeks! SAVE ME! *hides*

Riding Lesson

Today is my mom's birthday! =D But we didn't do much for her. She didn't want anything. My dad got her some flowers and we went out to dinner as a family and I made her an animation thingy. I think she enjoyed it, though.

The first thing this morning we had to go to Lovell Elementary, just like every Tuesday, and tutor kids. After that we went and visited my grandma and went home.

I practiced viola for an hour (45 minutes of scales. o.o) and my sister and mom went to piano lessons. Then they (my mom and dad) went to the high school to pick up my brother from a concert and my mom took me to

my riding lesson!! First one in two years. My teacher says I'm doing wonderfully and I get to canter next week! ^_^

I forgot how much fun it is to ride a horse. *sighs* But now I miss 'my' horsies even more when I come home. I should have pictures of them in a couple of days, as soon as the film gets developed. I rode Equity today.

After that we went out to eat, came home, had devotions, and everyone but me went to bed.

Which is where I'm going now. =P

Toodles!

Whew

I haven't posted here in awhiles! I'm sorry. It's been rather hectic here. Like usual.

Yesterday we sold out couch and sofa. And so we're all sitting on the floor! =P

We also sold Clefy's desk because it's bigger than he needs and he wants a smaller one once we move. So he has taken my 'desk' which is a folding table. But I don't really mind because I stopped sitting at it awhile ago. The floor rocks. =P

I'm currently working on web design homework, testing a page for accessibility for disabled people. It's not fun. At least I'm half done. I've also completed everything but the final exam on my Driver's Ed. course and when that's done I can take the test to get my permit. O.O

Sewing projects are also stacking up. =D I just finished another cloak.
Though that one is another for myself (unlined) I also helped Mom finish another cloak that we're selling to an author who's going on the fantasy tour with us. We also completed a cloak for Clefy and are working on another cloak for the fourth author going with us.

Two other cloaks are on order, too, for Kaylee and Bunn and also three tunics (one for me). Plus having to finish my dress! Hehe. Lots of sewing.

My viola audition is coming up in about two weeks as well and I'm not ready.

At least school is going well. ^_^

Porscha

I went to the stables today, first time since I found Porscha injured. I asked how she was doing and the barn manager told me that she got her stitches out on Friday and came home from the hospital but then she got colic. =( And had to be put down.

So Porscha's stall is now cleaned out and empty and her name is gone from the door. :(

...

I went without posting for awhile, didn't I. =P

That's because I was in Tennessee for a week.... and just got home yesterday.

I'll write up what went on there later, now I have to go do some more important stuff. =P

Stables...

Yesterday after school I got to go to the stables! I go to the stables every Thursday to volunteer. We left at 1:00 P.M and went to the post office to mail some things then Mom dropped me off at Freedom Ride.

As I went up the sidewalk to the gate the instructor, Missy, called to me asking me to bring in Lady Bug and Pete for the next lesson. I started to go to the volunteer room to sign in but decided I probably should get them right away so I went to the pasture and brought in Lady Bug (another volunteer got Pete) after I had groomed and tacked her we had a lesson in which I horse handled (led) Lady Bug. We had to trot a couple of times, too (Lady Bug is very fast so I have to run to keep up. =P ).

After that lesson I untacked Lady Bug, groomed her again and put her away before heading out to the pasture with Jerry (our barn manager) and getting the other horses. It was about upper eighties to lower nineties outside at that time, with no shade. We brought in all the mares first: Flikka and Little Bit (Ginger, Marigold, and Lady Bug were already in). Then we went to the gelding's pasture and all of them except three were up at the front (we have to boarders in the gelding's pasture) we brought in Big Easy, Zues, Cody, Titan, and Equity and the others started grooming while I went to get Argus, the last horse that we would bring in.

In the pasture still with Argus were Abdullah and Porscha, our two boarders. Abdullah stood about ten feet away from Argus and Porscha who stood together. I had Argus's halter in my hand and slid it over his head before looking at Porscha (she's a brown almost black mare).

Blood was pouring down her muzzle from a gash in the side of her face. The gash was about the side of a half dollar and almost two inches deep. Part of it went around her eye as well, swelling her eye shut. A small cut was under her eye and another long gash starting at the half dollar gash ran down her hole face and around her lip (just recalling it makes me feel sick). She also had cuts along her stomach and a bunch of skin missing from her hind right leg.

I lead Argus out of the pasture as fast as I could (and of course he was going as slow as he possibly could) and got him into his stall before getting Jerry. She and I went out to the pasture and looked at Porscha, Jerry brought a lead rope to put around her neck so we could lead her out of the pasture (since a halter couldn't be used). I ran ahead and opened a side smaller pasture in case she bolted. As soon as she got there she did bolt but Jerry was able to get her into that pasture. She called Linda, another person in charge of the boarders, and they started calling the vet and Porscha's owner. I ran back to the tack room to get some sponges and a bucket so we could sponge Porscha down since it was so hot.

First one vet said he wouldn't come out and then we couldn't get a hold of Porscha's owner. It was almost an hour before her owner and another vet came (I groomed some more horses during this time). They sedated her and put her head on a pole with a pad on it so the vet could examine her. After they had all the cuts washed out they started gushing more blood and the vet said she needed immediate transportation to the hospital in Ocala (which is an hour away).

So they took Porscha to the vet and that's all I know. I hope I can hear more about her on Saturday... Earlier that morning the geldings were being wild and kicking, managing to kick two whole sections of fence down (they repaired it right away and examined all horses close by but she was on the other side of the pasture). We think she could have hurt herself on that and/or gotten kicked. If this is true, she was bleeding like that for over three hours, and then another one before the vet got there.

Aside from all of that it was uneventful. When Porscha left I gave Zues (our white horse who was ...grey... at the time) a bath and helped groom some more horses. I was going to feed after that but Mom came to pick me up for my viola lesson which I went to right after.

I had a busy day yesterday. o.o

Sewing...

For the past couple of day's I've been sick... really sick. I lost my voice and even had a fever a couple of times. Now I'm mostly better and expect to be all better by tomorrow. =) Somehow even while being sick I managed to get more school done than when I'm not. Odd, no?

It's good, though, I've been stressing. Recently I added another course online and I'm signed up for another, this one that I just signed up for is considered very advanced and is for Seniors. (What am I getting myself into?)

Besides school I also have to write a magazine article with JF, Roh, and ILH and it's not even half done and it needs to be done pretty much now... And it's not... and there's no way it will be. Sigh...

I also have this huge sewing project that I wanted to take to the Central Florida Fair when finished but that's not going to happen because I hadn't had enough time or energy (being sick really zapped all my energy) to finish! Fortunately with Mom's help it's coming along pretty well, it just won't be done in time for the fair. Here are some pictures if any of y'all are interested.

The under dress we're making to go...well...under. =P

The trim we're using

Laying out the pattern pieces

The sleeves

Ironing the pattern pieces

Oh, and on top of all this we're taking a trip to Tennessee in six days and I'm not ready.

I have to have six Bible verses memorized before then for this thing we're doing and I have maybe one done.

Also we're moving in less than two months, my sixteenth birthday is coming up, we're going to Colorado in less than 50 days and I have to prepare some stuff for that, we have orchestra auditions coming up (which I'm scrambling to prepare for), I'm trying to learn how to read a whole new clef, and I'm trying to convince Mom to let me take piano! Am I crazy or what?!

Woah

Hehe, didn't realize that last post was so long. If no one reads it, I don't blame you. =P I kind of rambled. :6:
